Instructors weren't great at helping us and even starting surfing themselves during the lesson. Beach was extremely rocky and they didn't bother to provide us with shoes for it or even rent them as an option. Instructions took so long we were out in the ocean for like 30 minutes out of what was supposed to be an hour and a half of surfing lessons. Nickle and dimed had to rent rash guards for $5 a person and $5 a lock to store our stuff. Third time doing surfing lessons and by far the worst experience I've had out of the three.

Aloha Alberto, it is very unfortunate that you did not feel like you had a good time, I wish you could have spoken to one of us about it, or a simple phone call instead of writing a review......we could have revisited this and got you in the water surfing more confident. let me address the issues you mentioned.... 1) more attention and Time in the Ocean, a group setting is shared with a group of others as a great introduction to surfing….. but with previous experience and a goal to improve or refine your skills, you should have paid for a semi private or private 1 on 1 lesson, to get more dedicated attention…..and sole focus on you. 2) a Rash Guard  is a lycra shirt worn in the water to "prevent" RASH on your chest and arms due to the rubbing friction motion on top of the surfboard.... you were welcome to BRING YOUR OWN, or BUY a new one before you came for $50+, but you didn't so we offered you a rental for $5 so you would NOT experience your nipples bleeding and scrapes along your chest and belly……. a simple add on for those who did not come prepared for a surf experience. 3) a Lock Rental we do offer free lockers to store your belongings, may people who travel often typically carry their own lock, our location is secure but if you have valuables or irreplaceable items maybe it might be smart to bring your own lock or rent one for $5, when you go to the water park or Disney land, they provide lockers but you must pay the machine to have the open and lock for you. 4) Rocks in the ocean  the bottom of the ocean is full of sand and reef and rocks, we do offer booties for purchase at check in, and so do all the little stores around the area, you can even buy them online….. if you fall off the board correctly and tread water, the reef boots are not soo needed. Not a rental friendly item / foot funk - fungus no bueno. I just reviewed the camera footage with audio on the time of your lesson, you have 3 of the best instructors on your group with a ratio of 4 people per instructor. Great land demonstration and ocean safety before entering the water and then everyone seemed happy when they returned from the lesson before heading out…. So not sure where the disconnect was, but I hope you continue to try surfing and have a wonderful life. ALOHA.

The guys made my birthday surf session amazing! Everything was easy, they had a rash guard for me and a giant surfboard. Highly recommended!
