Great experience! The crew was fun, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We saw a number of different sharks.

We were looking for a snorkeling tour on the North Shore but most were closed for the season. We decided to give the shark tour a shot and it didn’t disappoint! The crew was super knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Even as the tides shifted, they made sure we remained together as a group and at a safe distance away from the boat. We appreciated that they took free photos so we could enjoy the moment and not worry about cameras. Definitely helps everyone stay safe and alert too. The pictures and videos were great and were easily AirDropped before we left the boat. We saw one sandbar shark and 5-6 Galapagos sharks and most of them stuck around for the full time. The boat ride can be a little choppy but tolerable, just be aware if you’re prone to getting seasick. Once you’re in the water, you don’t notice the waves. Recommend the floaty even if you’re a strong swimmer so you can easily relax and hang out. Unforgettable experience and would 100% recommend.

This is just advice, there is another shark diving experience at the location and please verify with the tour by showing them your ticket. The Island View tour I took was awesome. I was with a family of 7 and when we got in the water for 30 minutes there were 10-15 sharks in the water. I think most were Galapagos variety, beautiful grey and white sharks that swam within a few few of us but were mostly below us. We had individual floats that allowed us to snorkel about on the top of the ocean and look into the water easily. We were all holding onto a rope connected to the boat with a safety diver and a photographer was taking picture's non stop. I have a galley of 200+ photos of the experience. Was I scared, yes, but the advice was to remain calm and never touch the sea life. The family I was with had two kids with them about 10 years old and they got into the water as well but not for the full 30 minutes. Bravo Island View team, this adventure will be the highlight of my 5th journey to Hawaii and well worth the minor fear I experienced as a 65 year old man.
