I had purchased tickets online! BIG mistake. NEVER prepay for tickets for this event. They sent an email advising us to arrive 30 min early to find parking. We turned onto king st (about 2mi) away with 48 min before the time of our tour not bad for living a little over two hours away. I would have thought that since it was Christmas Eve things would be quiet, but it was Disney level INSANE the elbow to elbow crowds of pedestrians were literally blocking traffic and crossing against lights. By the time we parked over a mile away we had ten min left to make our trip. My mom walks with a cane so I ran on ahead and greatly hindered by the crowd arrived with one minuet to spare. I told the woman at the desk that my mom was still walking and she told me "then she has missed it because we are leaving" She sarcastically informed me that I "should have known to arrive over an hour early to get parking" (Just a reminder they sent instructions saying 30 min) and then she shut the window in my face. My mom arrived just in time to see the boat leave, crying from shame that her disability had made me miss the boat ride we had paid for. Merry Christmas indeed.
I would say that if they had told the truth about what it would take to make the boat we would have planned accordingly and arrived earlier, but the truth is we would not have booked. That is the SCAM behind their no return policy, they do not care if you take the trip only that pay for one. They know that if they told the truth no one would book.
