Little Italy is a chic, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, packed with trendy cocktail bars, brewpubs and restaurants with bustling patios. Upscale clothing boutiques, indie music venues and quaint piazzas dot the area, while the weekly Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market draws crowds to its mix of produce, gourmet food and craft stalls. The green lawns of Waterfront Park have fountains, and offer views of the bay.

On Thursday, October 7th, my husband and I took this tour of Little Italy with our guide, Anthony. He delighted us with the 3 restaurants chosen to sample most delicious food. We were fortunate to have him as our guide as he shared so much history of this area. We would highly suggest this to be included in a trip if a person is in this area.

Absolutely incredible. Our guide (Anthony) brought so much culture and great conversation to our night. The food was fantastic each and every bite. The high cost seems steep at first glance but now after the tour I can say it’s a great value for all the amazing flavors and different meals experienced. I would highly suggest this to anyone with a love of Italian food and good company!

Our host Anthony was so knowledgeable about cuisine, history and culture. Why book one restaurant when your guide can take you to several authentic spots highlighting the specialties and history of little Italy. He tailored the experience to our preferences and knocked it out of the park!
