Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled flight time with Identification. It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

10/10 WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IF : - You don't have your own car - You're staying in Manhattan - You want quality service Do come if you like : - Poor service - Long transit time - Long waiting time Use any of the competition like heliny.com Also wouldn't recommend for the fact that you'll spend more with them if you just get late by a bit, we're not locals and got charged 200$ because there was no easily accessible transportation system to their location, and thus got late as we couldn't find an Uber on the second part of the trip The cost in time & $ to get there, which will run you back at least 50-100$ both ways with bus + Uber, 200$ if you take a taxi / Uber, makes it the the bottom place i'd recommend anyone in NYC for helicopter. Obviously we couldn't have been aware of all this prior to the booking as we're not locals. You need to get there 45 minutes before your flight, and then wait anyway an hour, so they'll charge you late fees if you come late for what reason...? Anyway just go with: heliny.com heliny.com heliny.com You'll thank yourself PS : the actual flight was fine, but we didn't fly until 1 hour after we got there, despite being just on time for the actual flight at 4PM.

It is obvious when you booked your flight you did not read ALL directions and where the departure is. You came late exactly 3:42 for your 4pm. It is customer responsibility to be on time in which we had to call you instead of you calling the office when running late it is not fair for other passengers who are on time and are also coming from the city and are tourists.

BEWARE, support crew smoking weed while waiting, no safety instructions/video given, waited 2 hours for flight. My wife sprained her ankel departuring the helicopter cause the help crew were high, ended up at the hospital and whole vacation ruined. Horrible experience, didnt even get a refund. STAY CLEAR!

We felt like we were treated differently (black) than others (white). We were asked certain questions that others (white) were not asked and we felt we did not get the same kindness. A lot of time this is because of the lack of cultural awareness and embedded cultural ideologies passed down for generations. We live in a time that these things should be called out, strictly for the sake of awareness and change. It is up to you to change the way you are and treat black and brown people with the same sincerity as you should any paying customer. Even though this is something many black and brown people go through on a daily basis, one thing we know how to do is to still have a great time. Thank you for the experience, we hope you may learn from this review.
