Chris was an amazing jet ski guide. He gave us a full half hour safety prep followed by the best jet ski tour we have ever had!! We saw the mangroves, Cape Romano, dolphins and so much more! He also gave us the opportunity to just have fun on the jet ski. It was informative and so much fun. I would highly recommend this if you are interested in doing a jet ski tour.

Chris was so patient, knowledgeable and accommodating! He rebooked our tour when we couldn’t get our car out of the hotel parking lot due to a local parade. Being a newbie , I was really slow to get the hang of it. He told me to go at my own speed and he would not leave me behind! Eventually I got the hang of it and kept up with the group. We stopped a few times and Chris talked about the wildlife. He also took pics for us in front of Cape Romano. It was a great day! I highly recommend the jet ski tour of the 10,000 islands.

I did my due diligence in researching companies to book a jet ski tour with my family during our trip to Marco (tour was on February 27th). Florida Adventures was recommended to me by another company that is no longer doing the tours, just jet ski rentals. I took that as a good sign and did the reservation online but followed up with a phone call and felt reassured after speaking to them directly. We signed up for a two-hour guided tour through the mangroves and 10,000 Islands. Our party was two adult sons, husband and wife (sharing a wave runner) and a grandfather. Another youngish couple joined our group. Chris was our guide for the day, and reassured us we would go at a speed we were all comfortable with. He gave a good safety review and overview of the super-nice Yamaha machines. We literally sat on the wave runners while they got us into the water and on our way. This tour is great fun for all ages (some speed in and out of the mangroves and some educational aspects and sea life, also. Chris was not a clock watcher and we got more than our money's worth for the afternoon. The safety prep and getting the machines into the water does NOT count toward your time on the water which we appreciated. It was a special day on the water we will always remember. Right at the end of our trip, Chris allowed our group to do some "play time" with the wave runners in some open water area. Those Yamaha machines are amazing and two people will be more than comfortable together on one if they want to share! The ONLY reason I did not give a 5 rating is because we did not see too many dolphins, manatee or the like. But we did see a few, in addition to lots of beautiful birds. And realistically your tour guide operator can't control the wildlife on any particular day. I would highly recommend this company! HINT: Because our boys are 18 and 21 years, they did need to do the boating certification online before our adventure in order to drive their own wave runner. The course will take a few hours to complete, so don't leave this until the last minute! And now both have a lifetime certification card. This tour was exactly as advertised -- some playtime with the wave runners partnered with an educational afternoon on the water!
