Island of Hawaii

Start your adventure by flying along saddle road between Mauna Kea (tallest mountain in the world) and Mauna Loa (largest mass mountain in the world) toward Kilauea Iki, one of the most active volcanoes on earth. Head north up the windward side of the island passing Hilo town, the wettest town on earth, and the heavenly Hamakua Coast filled with flora and fauna. We then decent upon the Kohala Valleyʻs of Waipiʻo, Waimanu, and Pololu, home to 2500 feet waterfalls. We climb and cross over the summit of Kohala, the oldest of the five volcanoes that make up the Island of Hawaiʻi. Your tour concludes with a beautiful coastline flight over white sand beaches, pristine coral reefs, ancient lava flows, historic heeiau (temples) and the luxury resorts that make their homes on the island’s leeward shores.

We have driven the big island before and have loved the sights from ground level. Seeing it from the sky was truly breathtaking. The colors of the island coupled with the knowledge given about the areas we were seeing from our incredible pilot, Jasmine, gave us a whole new appreciation for the Big Island. Jasmine’s excitement for what we were seeing and expert flying made it all that much more special. We had a beautiful weather day allowing us to see the entire island and the joy of spotting a school of dolphins and a pair of whales in the ocean. We would highly recommend this private tour.

We had a wonderful experience. Jasmin was an excellent pilot & was very knowledgeable about the island. She showed us some awesome places you could not see from the ground. We highly recommend the tour. It was worth the money!!

The history and overview was spectacular! Going in the canyon and turning around on a dime was amazing! Jasmin was so professional and fun at the same time. We would do it again!!! Our favorite excursion!!!
