The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

Our tour guide Missy was incredibly engaging and knowledgeable, bringing the rich history of the Art Deco neighborhood to life with fascinating stories and details. She was so friendly and approachable, making it easy to ask questions and feel like part of the group throughout the entire tour. Missy is truly passionate about the history of the area. Her enthusiasm was contagious and made the tour even more enjoyable. Thanks to her, this walking tour was not just informative but truly memorable, with personal touches and local insights that you can’t find in a typical guidebook.

This was such an informative and fun walking tour! 5+ stars! The guide, Rick, was hysterical and yet taught us so much about the architecture and the history of Miami Beach and Miami. He was also a great resource on what else to do in the area and restaurants. Totally great experience!

Unbelievably great. Julie, our tour guide, was super knowlegeable, passionate, and personable. I never knew the backstory of Art Deco in Miami or how many gorgeous vintage structures there are. She had relationships with some building managers so we got to see some transporting interiors as well. Sublime!
