The crew was awesome, very attentive and fun! The under water wildlife was just mesmerizing - magic in every direction! We barely took our goggles out of the water! Saw an octopus, sea urchin lots of fish and some big majestic turtles! Mahalo :)

The tour did not last two hours, you only get about 20 mins of snorkeling time. I was told that because the life guard had to make sure I got to the reed that I had to be taken back with him as well. I explained to the crew members that I was comfortable swimming on my own and needed help because it was my first time snorkeling. So if your a first time snorkeling and need the lifeguards help your tour will be cut short. The crew member did not include me with the snorkeling group which was odd, and ended my snorkeling excursion. Not what I paid for and not an enjoyable experience. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that my snorkeling time would be shortened if I needed the life guards help.

I’m so sorry you were disappointed with the amount of time you got to snorkel. Our tour is 2 hours from the time we leave the harbor until the time that we return. I think there was a misunderstanding about the amount of time that you get to snorkel and I apologize. We are at the turtle canyons site for one hour where you can get in and snorkel. As soon as we arrive we let all guests who feel comfortable enter the water immediately and snorkel the entire time. Those who choose to not go with this first group can get additional help from our crew learning to snorkel and easing their way in. We pride ourselves on our staff working with our guests that either need assistance learning to snorkel or require more 1:1 attention. Because we do not have as many staff as guests if you do require 1:1 attention we are unable to provide that for an entire hour. It is our policy that if you cannot safely swim unassisted from the boat to the snorkel site that you need to return with your escort for your safety. Unfortunately if much of the tour is spent getting comfortable learning to snorkel near the boat we do not give an additional hour of snorkeling once you get the hang of things.

Good crew, water was super rough when we went but the crew was nice and the turtles were still out overall a good experience
