Boat left late as 6 guests were 15 min late, they should have missed their slot as there was another tour after ours and we got cut short because of it, tooooo many people packed on a small boat. Once in the water the staff were constantly shouting at guests to swim to an area, as soon as we did they shouted for us to go in the opposite direction. It was chaos like a wild goose chase Instead of allowing the turtles to swim freely and see them as they passed it was constant guests rushing and kicking people in the face. I even had my head smashed down multiple times by rushed guests. It felt like we were paparazzi for the turtles. We didn’t get any photos or go pro footage of the turtles because we were constantly chasing them 2/3 of the female crew were very rude and wore SKIMPY baggy swim bottoms with their lady parts hanging out for the guests and children to see. The thin blonde literally had a thong style bottom w 90% of her rear hanging out and when she would turn around the front of her parts hung out the sides. It was unprofessional and not what we wanted to see. We were there for turtles not her lady parts When they were supposed to be assisting swimmers they instead sat on paddle boards and yelled versus helping. Grace was the only helpful female crew and she was exhausted as she made multiple trips towing guests back to the boat while the others yelled Preston was the only saving grace this trip as he found an octopus that we were able to view and photograph. This trip felt like they were trying to bring as many guests to fill the boat to make money instead of making it enjoyable and memorable for the paying guests.

I’m so sorry for your negative experience. Thank you for bringing them to our attention. We do our very best to leave on time but it is difficult to leave someone behind if they are parking and about to get on the boat. If we are a few minutes late getting out we make up for this by staying longer at the snorkel site and making sure you get your hour of snorkeling at turtle canyons. Unfortunately not all guests are aware of their surroundings in the water and can run into each other, especially if there is current or lower than normal visibility. We do have our crew point out the turtles so that you can see them when they come up to the surface, but we do not at all require that you swim over to them! If you would prefer to stay a little out of the group and wait for a turtle to possibly swim by you we are 100% happy to have you do that. I apologize that this was not explained well to you. As for the swim suits we will discuss with the crew the dress code as we do not want you to feel uncomfortable on our tour.

I am SO GLAD I chose this experience! I wanted to snorkel and see fish and turtles and I did. What made this exceptional was the thoughtfulness and care of each member of the crew and staff around our safety. I truly felt that they wanted each person ,regardless of their level of snorkeling ability, to have a good experience. To see the smiling faces on the way back made me know that they succeeded. It was amazing to learn that there were so many fish and turtles just a short ways from bustling Waikiki! Later we went to the North Shore that promises great snorkeling but the waves were pretty high the three days we were there . There were a few turtles that could be seen from the surface but no fish under the water which was fairly turbulent. It made me even more thankful I was able to go on this tour.

This was by far our favorite part of our trip! All of the staff were amazing and kind. They really care about your experience and want you to have a great time. I would HIGHLY recommend doing this. It was both me and my fiancé’s first time snorkeling and we felt so supported!
