Going through the Black Canyon under the stars, this is truly a unique kayaking experience. Depart during daylight to see all of the beauty of the Black Canyon, including historical sites and desert wildlife. You'll then beach your kayaks as the sun sets on the Colorado River. Roast hot dogs over the bonfire before returning to Willow Beach under the stars.

My wife and I are visiting Las Vegas and we were lucky enough to score two spots on the full day tour. If you're planning on doing this tour, book it NOW! Seriously, don't even think about it. I'm glad I did and did not wait for my wife's sandwich choice (made it for her) as Blazin' Paddles were able to get the last two permits for the Hover Dam that day (the government only gives a very limited amount to all of the kayak companies). Anyway, we had Greg as a tour guide and he was awesome! He took us to all different caves, climbed through the dessert, went to numerous hot springs, hung out with some ducks (who appeared to know him somehow), and learned about history of the canyon. If you can handle the length of he trip, which wasn't bad at all for us, I highly recommend it. Otherwise, I would definitely book one of their other tours as the company is very easy to work with. They have speedy, friendly, and professional customer service all around. P.s. I very rarely write reviews, so that in itself says a lot.

We took a 3 hour Black Canyon kayak trip with Blazin' Paddles. Everything was great from the reservation process to the end. The reservation system is in real time, so you know immediately if there is space for your party on a certain day and time. The website does a great job describing the various options for trips. They normally pick guests up at their Las Vegas hotels, but we asked to meet them at the landing due to our starting location, and they were great about communicating with us about the location and the time to meet them. The guides provided everything we needed--life jackets, kayaks, snacks and water. They went over safety precautions with the group prior to launching. We stopped 3 times -- once to hike, once to swim at a beach, and once to jump off a rock into the river (for those who desired). We saw goats, bald eagles and other wildlife. They did not rush our group back to the launch at the end, and in fact our tour was closer to 4 hours than 3 hours. The guides (Ryan and Greg) were both knowledgeable about the natural resources in the area and were also extremely personable. I would recommend to anyone!

My friends and I decided to leave the lights and sounds of Las Vegas for some outdoor adventure and Blazin Paddles did NOT disappoint!! Blazin Paddles will pick you up near your hotel and drop you off after your adventure is completed. Although, it does take a little over an hour in a comfortable van to get to our destination it was well worth the drive out of Vegas. Our tour guides, Seth and Ryan, were so nice and helpful. They made sure we were comfortable in our kayak and reviewed safety before we hit the water. The view was AMAZING! We were even lucky enough to see a bald eagle soaring from the sky into his nest on the side of a cliff. Be sure to bring your water proof cameras or a water proof bag made for kayaking or paddle boards.
