Package a thrilling zipline tour with the Upper Clear Creek 1/2 Day rafting trip for an adventure of a lifetime! Start off the day on AVA’s Cliffside Zipline Tour. With 6 exciting lines and additional features such as the Jungle Bridge and dual race line, you will be soaring through the trees. Finish your course with an exciting 450 foot line running directly over Chicago Creek and landing back at our outpost. Up next, it's time to raft the thrilling whitewater of the Upper Clear Creek! Starting high in the canyon, you’ll encounter 30 major rapids on this 8-mile trip dropping an incredible 1,300 vertical feet. This continuous, steep, technical section will keep your paddle moving and your heart thumping as you crash through pulsing, class IV rapids. As you marvel at the beautiful Colorado scenery, keep a lookout for Big Horn Sheep, river otters, deer, and other native wildlife. Either pack a lunch or eat in Idaho Springs between trips.

The course is weaved into our forested, 9-acre private property with stunning mountain views. You begin your day flying from ridge to ridge over a forest of Douglas Fir and Ponderosa Pines. Then start descending into the forest flying from tree to tree at speeds up to 30 miles mph as you make your way down the mountain Finish off with an exciting 450 foot line running directly over Chicago Creek and landing in the backyard of our office. Our course follows the contours of the mountain providing a truly unique experience.

Just minutes from Denver, this continuous, steep, technical section will keep your paddle moving and your heart pounding as you crash through 8 miles of rapids such as Nomad, Phoenix Holes and Outer Limits. As you marvel at the beautiful Colorado scenery, keep a lookout for Big Horn Sheep, river otters, deer and other native wildlife that are commonly spotted on many of our Colorado whitewater rafting trips.

Cancelled days before, massive inconvenience for us. They should offer partial refund and a replacement trip (or discount off other trip) if that happens, not just offer to book you for something else. Not even remotely apologetic about the inconvenience. When asked why we weren’t getting some discount or partial refund, response was “we have to be profitable”.

AMAZING! Exciting and fun adventure! Everyone here is nice and wonderful, made me feel completely comfortable. Eric was our rafting guide and Otter and Jess were our ziplining guides.
