This was, by far, my favorite whitewater rafting trip ever. The Upper Klamath is a near-continual stretch of class 3 and class 4 rapids with plenty of excitement. Highly recommended. But what really makes a trip is the quality of the guides and the preparation behind the scenes to make the trip feel effortless. Noah's has this totally figured out. Noah's has been doing this run longer than just about anyone out there. Noah, himself, helped name many of the rapids back in the 70's! From a great continental breakfast they put out to keep us occupied as they prepared the rafts and gear to the moment we were back at our cars, they did a great job of making everything smooth and enjoyable. The guides did a great job of explaining what they needed from us on each rapid to have a safe and fun trip, but they didn't let the technical aspects of the trip overshadow just having a great time. In addition to plenty of whitewater action, the scenery was beautiful, and we saw wildlife including a turtle, mama ducks with ducklings, and a bald eagle that practically buzzed us! The lunch was first-rate. The guides and staff are friendly and top-drawer. I'm already planning my repeat trip next summer!
