We are both over 75 years old and because we are both marathon runners who still jog shorter road races we we assumed we should sign up for the moderate hike. Road racing however is by no means hiking! Our guide was amazing, informative,,and supportive! The tour and sights were far beyond what we expected! We hope to repeat the tour next year after we spend time more time hiking!

I had a great experience with this tour company - I was contacted a few days prior telling me I was the only one who signed up for this time slot. Thankfully due to the flexibility of another hiker, we were able to coordinate combining our tours. We ended up just us two solo hikers with the guide as our 3rd. Matthew was an awesome guide - very friendly and knowledgeable, and a professional hiker - very familiar with the park, the ecology, the trails, safety, etc. Pickup and drop off at the hotel was super convenient. Since there were just two of us, he assessed our skill level and decided to take us on a more challenging route, even though we signed up for Moderate. I thought this was great- I think I got to experience the park differently than others , we saw some amazing views and challenged ourselves on the terrain. Beautiful scenery that I've never seen anything like this coming from the Midwest. Highly recommend this tour to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip-- get out and enjoy what nature what has to offer, especially while the weather is not scorching!

The petroglyphs saved this trip from being poor. They were interesting but seeing big horn sheep with babies was the highlight. Our tour guide was very inexperienced for the tour. My expectations were high given the ratings on the website. The guide knew how to hike but had limited knowledge about the park and it’s attractions. I believe she will be an excellent guide once she has been there for a while. I fault the company which was clearly just looking for a warm body to lead a hike and did not really care about the training for its staff. Very disappointed.

Hi Ann, So many apologies that this is how your experience ended up. We do absolutely aim to have a 5 star level of service and provide an experience that is memorable for years to come. We would love the opportunity to make this better for you. Your disappointment is unacceptable in our opinion and we will do our best to fix this. Would you be available to call us at 702.285.9298 to discuss options? If for some reason you are not available please know that we will immediately bring this person back in for training as we only have one new tour guide at this time so this is not a question of who this is. I will personally look into the things that she may not be ready for and get her to a place where there is no chance a guest experience will be like the one you had in the future. Again, many apologies and we do hope to connect with you to mend your disappointment in Love Hikes.
