Lamar Valley
The Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park is world renowned for the wildlife that congregates here. It is often refeered to "The Serengeti of Yellowstone." The Lamar Valley is currently the best place to spot wild wolves in the United States. This is the exact location where biologists from National Park Service released the first wolf pack to walk in Yellowstone since the early 1900's. Not only can we see wolves here but we will see large bison and elk herds grazing in this famous valley.
5
Mammoth Hot Springs
We will explore the board walks surrounding Mammoth Hot Springs. Mammoth Hot Springs is a very large thermal feature sitting over a large deposit of limestone. The super heated water from the volcano underneath Yellowstone is dissolving the limestone a redepositing it to the surface as travertine limestone causing turquoise pools and unusual terraces.

Nathan made our first experience at Yellowstone one for the memory books. He was on time, he knew all the answers to our questions and personalized the experience to our family. He knew where to keep us away from the crowds and out of the traffic without missing anything. Transportation was clean, roomy. He provided a delicious lunch and knew where the cleanest bathrooms were in the park. We highly recommend Yellowstone Adventures and Nathan as your guide.

Our guide Andrea was an expert naturalist—(“he knows the park really well” per my 11year old). Highly recommend this operation for the Professional, expert naturalist guide, and the company/guide’s Communication which was great. Andrea was excellent at tailoring the experience, start time and day to our kids (who were equally interested in taking breaks to roll around in the snow and sight animals). We’ll stocked with snacks, lunch etc—key for traveling with school aged kids! Got very rare sighting of mountain lion (albeit very far off), and black bear mamma and cubs just beginning to emerge from their den. Amazing!

The experience with Yellowstone Adventure Tours was beyond amazing! Andrea, our guide, was passionate and knowledgeable - a true gem of a human. He shared the best of Yellowstone in all its winter wonderland glory - bison, moose, coyote, wolves, eagles and so much more! We were fortunate to be one of the first people outside of scientists to see a new wolf pack! Every detail of the tour was thoughtfully arranged and executed. Worth every penny!
