Gomez was such a wealth of knowledge! He made the history of voodoo so interesting and threw in lots of other New Orleans history at the same time. I highly recommend his tour

Orion is a fantastic guide who speaks with such reverence and passion for the city of New Orleans, the history of voodoo, and the socioeconomic impacts it had on both the city itself and the development of the music that they are so well known for. The respect that he extends to both the black community, music, voodoo and religious practice, and Marie Laveau herself really shines through his words and gave both my mother and I such a profound appreciation for the culture that we didn’t expect. Not only has it encouraged us to learn further on our own, but it has also opened so many doors for us to explore the beautiful culture New Orleans has to offer in an unexpected way. Would absolutely love to experience this again.
