Enjoy the Boston's history, vibrant atmosphere and wonderful architecture on this 2-hr Guided Walking Tour of the Downtown Freedom Trail between Faneuil Hall and Boston Common and then travel on to Copley Square in Back Bay via Beacon Hill. The Downtown Boston portion of the popular Freedom Trail features many of the locations of historical significance to the United States including the Old State House, Old Granary Burial Ground, and the site of the Boston Massacre. We will then see where the Boston aristocracy lives on Beacon Hill on our way to the Boston Public Garden and see the Victorian brownstones in historic Back Bay. See the famous Cheers restaurant, Newbury Street and Commonwealth Avenue on our way to the Boston Marathon Finish Line. Other top highlights include: Old & New State Houses, Boston Massacre Site, Old & New City Halls, Old South Meeting House, King's Chapel, Park Street Church, Beacon Hill, Boston Public Garden, Swan Boats, Boston Public Library, Trinity Church.

Anniversary trip to Boston, we had never been. Wanted to take in some of the history and scheduled a tour with Boston Cityworks/Tripadvisor. We had Alan and he was great. I would recommend him as a guide to anyone. The tour was great, informative, and fun. Would use if you've never been to Boston or if you're a regular.

hit the most common elements but not the entire freedom trail. narrator was ok but sometimes lost track. good for a first timer on first day tour

The tour covers the Downtown portion of the Freedom Trail plus Beacon Hill to Back Bay. The whole Freedom Trail is a half day tour, but 3/4 of the sites are covered in the Downtown part. Thanks for your input.
