Enjoy the Boston's history, vibrant atmosphere and wonderful architecture on this 2-hr Guided Walking Tour of the Downtown Freedom Trail between Faneuil Hall and Boston Common and then travel on to Copley Square in Back Bay via Beacon Hill. The Downtown Boston portion of the popular Freedom Trail features many of the locations of historical significance to the United States including the Old State House, Old Granary Burial Ground, and the site of the Boston Massacre. We will then see where the Boston aristocracy lives on Beacon Hill on our way to the Boston Public Garden and see the Victorian brownstones in historic Back Bay. See the famous Cheers restaurant, Newbury Street and Commonwealth Avenue on our way to the Boston Marathon Finish Line. Other top highlights include: Old & New State Houses, Boston Massacre Site, Old & New City Halls, Old South Meeting House, King's Chapel, Park Street Church, Beacon Hill, Boston Public Garden, Swan Boats, Boston Public Library, Trinity Church.

It was my first time visiting Boston. Allen, the tour guide, introduced us to the city, while providing an informational and welcoming environment. We visited many of the historical landmarks of the city. It was a long but manageable walk. I didn’t know how windy Boston would be in April, so it was a cold walk. But our group got a nice introduction to the city. Plus, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable!

We always take walking tours of cities we visit......reading in a guide book never compares to the human who is telling you all of the anecdotal stories that make travel so interesting. We had a nice group size...8 people......and it gave us a great layout of the city and all of its interesting stories........historical and otherwise!
