The trolley was good. The trolley's were clean and the commentary by the drivers was great and very informative. We found that they were too full and at times we had to wait for the next trolley so the wait was a bit long and did take away time from the day. At one stage we decided it was quicker for us to walk to some of the locations ourselves so we didn't loose time. It would have been better if the trolley's weren't so full... seems they need more trolley's on route during busy seasons to cater for all their customers.

Awesome way of seeing Washington by day and the drivers were very knowledgeable. The only thing I’d say is at Arlington make sure you dont exist the main entrance building to get the hop on hop off bus back to Washington... it goes from inside where the Arlington bus drops you off. We had to go through Secruity again and back to the same place. Waste of time and wish we were told. Overall a fabulous trip and that’s the only thing I’d say negative. Maybe the orange hop on off sign needs to be placed so we can see how to exit.

We read the reviews before going to DC and thought this would be a great way to get around. Wrong! The trolley single handedly filled our day with nothing but stress!! The only reason I am not giving them a TERRIBLE score is the young guy at Union Station who sold us our tickets was so helpful. He literally walked us through the station to where we were to catch the Trolley. If all of the staff was as dedicated as he was this would be an awesome company to deal with BUT! We got on at Union Station and got off at the Air and Space museum. We were the about 3 hours. When we came out to get on the Trolley there were about 20 people waiting and they were ALL VERY ANGRY! The Trolleys we were told come by about every 15 minutes, the young guy who sold us our tickets said it was busy the day we were there and the wait could be up to a half hour. The people had been waiting an hour and a half before we got there! They had called the Trolley station and were told a Trolley would be there shortly. We walked down a block and got something to eat and came back in time for the Trolley and when it got there it was FULL and no one got off! So, they called again and were told that another Trolley was being sent and it was empty. The Trolley arrived and again was Full and no one got off! They decided to give up and the next Big Bus (another bus service that stops at the same places) that came by, they bought a ticket and got on that. Thay said they were going to demand their money back from they Trolley when they got back to Union Staion. I don't know what came of that. We waited about another 15 minutes and another trolley came by and it had just 2 spaces on it so we got on because the people ahead of us at that point had 3 people and didn't want to leave anyone. At this point it is 3pm and the bus only runs till 5pm unless you pay extra for the night ride. We are almost afraid to get off again! We decided we paid $98 for the ride we would try one more stop. We stopped at the Lincoln Memorial. We walked from there to the Washington Monument and saw the WW1, WW2 and Korean War Memorials. When we went to get back on we had to wait again because the first Trolley was full. They had two empty Buses that they use to go to Arlinton National Cemetary just sitting there. Why they did not take one of those out of service and shuttle a few people where they wanted to go was beyond me? We finally got back to Union Station at 5pm. The driver started telling people at 3:00 that they had better plan on coming back another day if they wanted to see anything. I also heard her over the radio take a call from dispatch to skip a stop entirely! They are supposed to start at stop 1 and go through in order! My recommendation is find some other way to get around DC. I know even the taxi we took while there did not charge anywhere near what the Trolley did for 2 stops! Find a better way to get around!
