Водоспад Лулумаху

Lulumahu Waterfall

This hike to one of Hawaii’s most incredible waterfalls is fit for all experience levels. After pickup, we will drive about 15 minutes to the trailhead where the muddy adventure begins. The trail is a true rainforest trail, misty and green most of the time. Along the trail, you will hike through bamboo forests, guava tree meadows, taro patches, and will cross a small stream several times before reaching the waterfall. The stream is only ankle deep, but your shoes will get wet on this trail. Once we reach the waterfall, feel free take snap some pictures, or get your feet wet in the pool below. Stay on trail with an experienced and trusted local guide, learn about Hawai’i history, and explore nature without the tourist crowds.

After dong the traditional tours with bus loads of people, it was nice to get out in nature away from the crowds. Joe is a wealth of knowledge and not just about Hawaii. Great conversations along the way. Note that departure times listed on Viator may be incorrect so verify that with Joe and also be aware that the trails can be quite muddy so war appropriate shoes.
