After our fishing charter got cancelled we looked around Hoonah for another option of something to do on our cruise stop, when we found Captain Billy. This tour is MUCH different than the other whale watching trips as we were a full group with 6 guest on board, where when booked with the cruise ship it would be 100 people. We were able to get much closer to the whales than other boats while still not disturbing them. Saw a pod of 8 Orcas, pod of 6 humpbacks doing Bubble net feeding, and one humpback breaching many times for us to see! It was incredible and Billy is born and raise from Hoonah! HIGHLY recommend to book Billy if you are in Icy Strait Point or Hoonah.

Totally amazing experience! We saw both humpback whales and a small group of orcas. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We saw seals, sea lions and eagles as well. I would totally recommend his tours and if we make it to Alaska again we will definitely book with him!

We were in Hoonah Alaska our boat Driver was Denise and her deckhand Chrissy they were so knowledgeable about the whales and boy does Denise know where to find those whales ,she knows her stuff and how to drive that Boat and told some amazing tales of the life in Hoonah ,we were a family of 11 and it was an amazing experience we got so much video and pics , we saw so many whales and sea lions ,we will never forget this place
