Jeremy was amazing. Very interesting, thorough and comedic. Just surprised he didn't mention Breonna Taylor since that’s where we ended.

EDIT, July 2024: We have made updates to our script and found a way to honor Breonna Taylor's story thoughtfully and respectfully. Thank you for your feedback, and for encouraging us to keep reflecting and improving! Original response: We're so glad you enjoyed your tour! To answer your question, we thought long and hard about whether to include Breonna Taylor's tragic story, and ultimately it didn't feel right to include it. It is one of the most horrific things that's happened here in the last few years, the city is still very much reeling from it, and this didn't feel like an appropriate tour to include it on. Telling true historic stories about dark and tragic things is a tricky line to walk, because while we want to tell the stories in a way that honors the victims who experienced it, we also want to do so in a way that is enjoyable and entertaining for our guests. Ultimately we went with a 20-30 year statute of limitations rule of thumb for the stories on this tour, and tried to envision how someone would feel going on the tour if they were a relative or close friend of one of the subjects of the stories we told. I hope that helps shed some light on why we chose not to tell that particular story!

Not as advertised. Mostly round-about historical stories. The only “ghost story” told could barely qualify as such. Went over the scheduled time, and there seemed to be no designated route. Felt rambling and unplanned. Not worth the money at all.

We will take your feedback and aim to make this tour's focus on dark history more clear to future guests. The tour does have a designated route, with thoughtfully planned stories and a carefully crafted script, and it's disappointing to hear that they weren't presented well.
