1
The Witch House at Salem
Welcome to Salem’s Witch House. Purchased in 1675 by Judge Jonathan Corwin, the Witch House is the only surviving structure with direct ties to Salem’s Witch Trials. It’s architecturally extraordinary and historically essential. Here you will learn all about Corwin, and the innocents he had executed.
2
Old Burying Point Cemetery
The Burying Point Cemetery, established in 1637, is one of the most prominent burial sites in Salem. Because of its age, every gravesite at the Burying Point unquestionably holds historical importance. One of the most important belongs to John Hathorne. You'll get to learn even more about the lives behind the spirits haunting these graves.
3
Peabody Essex Museum
We stand before the Peabody Essex Museum. Within these walls, you will find many of the original documents of the Salem Witch Trials. For the historians in tonight’s audience, this is a must-see stop. This is also where we would like to give you a few bits of information about the trials you may not find otherwise. This will be for “frequently asked questions,” so to speak.

We were very disappointed in this tour. Our guide was like a middle school history teacher. There was nothing fun or interesting about anything she said. We ended up leaving before the tour was even over.

Hi, I am sorry to hear that you left your tour early. The Salem Witch Trial Tour is advertised as a history tour. I would recommend trying one of our ghost tours if you looking for something a little more out of the box.

The tour wasn't as expected. According to the itinerary we had free admission to the sites but at our first stop to the witch house I was very disappointed to learn that we couldn't go inside. I booked this tour primarily for the admission to the house. We came all way from NY and waited from 1030am for this tour only to be disappointed. Additionally, Judy the tour guide was very sweet but very hard to hear! Please provide her a microphone!

I am sorry you did not receive the experience you were hoping for! All of our tours are outdoor walking tours, and we are unable to go inside the buildings. This is because most of the structures are privately owned or state-owned. We currently cannot provide the guides in Salem with microphones due to a noise ordinance put in place by the city. Thank you for your feedback; we will strive to make the experience even better!

The young college girl tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the story of the Salem story. We only had a few people in our group, so she answered all of our questions and was very attentive to the needs of one that was in a wheelchair and took consideration of her safety
