When visiting Boston, the Freedom Trail is a must-do activity, but why not see historic sites while drinking beer? Join Ye Olde Tavern Tours to see 10 sites on the Freedom Trail-including the site of the Boston Massacre and the Old State House-and grab a drink at 3 historic taverns. Beer and/or hard cider is included in the ticket price, so all you need to do is show up ready for fun.

Our guests want a unique and memorable way to learn about Boston's revolutionary (and drunken) history and for the past ten years, we have delivered. Our guides are expertly-trained historians who are also incredibly personable. Our founder, owner, and frequent tour guide has a PhD in American history and is a two-time author. We know our stuff and are passionate about sharing the most interesting stories.

We cap each tour at 12 people to provide an intimate experience. Ye Olde Tavern Tours is the most fun and social way to experience Boston!

The tour guide was very informative and fun! It was a beautiful fall day in Boston - so that was a plus! We did walking! The tour covered many historical areas and Boston is very walkable and clean!!! The pubs were amazing and beer was tasty! Def don’t pass up this tour! It was great! Highly recommend!

We had so much fun learning about the freedom trail while hanging out in a few of America's oldest pubs. Brooke was an amazing guide with loads of history to share with us. She kept us all interested and entertained. The 3 pubs were great with delicious beers as well as at least one cider choice. We would do this tour again and we highly recommend Brooke. Thanks for an awesome afternoon!
