Our Half Day Classic Raft trip begins at the northern border of Yellowstone National Park, right where the Gardiner River converges with the mighty Yellowstone River. This trip is fun for the whole family! Ride the waves at Bridge Waves, Man Eater, Loonie's and Boonie's Revenge, Queen of the Waters, and the KING! Take in the breathtaking view of Devil’s Slide. Float through some flat water stretches that are great for swimming and relaxing. This trip is great for first time rafters or family groups with wide age and ability ranges. This trip is 8 miles on the river and can be up to 3 hours approximately depending on water levels (CFS).

Great family adventure…we shared a lot of laughs. Not too wet nor wild……only recommendation is that the company has the raft ready to load from the shore…a paying guest should not be expected to carry such a heavy object down a steep.rocky hill to get get it to the water…the exit at the end of the raft trip was a boat ramp…at which time it wasn’t a risky task to help load the raft for the return to the office!

Thanks for writing to us! Rafting is always a great way to spend the day with family, and we're glad that it was a fun bonding experience. Unfortunately the put-in is under the control of Yellowstone National Park and we aren't allowed to make developmental changes there (as much as we may wish to do so!), so for the time being we need all hands on deck to get into the water. We apologize that it was not what you expected, but we're happy that the remainder of your trip went well! Thanks again for the review.

We had a great afternoon whitewater rafting with Frank on the Yellowstone River! It’s a great family adventure with a professional team! I must admit, carrying the raft down a steep and rocky hill was a workout, so not advisable for those with physical limitations for heavy lifting, such as myself.

Our tour group took a raft trip with Montana Whitewater. Elijah was both knowledgeable, competent and also a lot of fun with his facts and his dad jokes! Great trip with just the right amount of rapids to make it exciting, but not too scary!
