Zebra Slot Canyon Hiking Tour in Escalante

This has to be one of the most unique slot canyons in Southern Utah. It has beautiful stripes on the walls of the canyon that make this a photographer's dream.

With a 5-mile round trip hike make sure to bring water. It is a short slot canyon but well worth the hike. This canyon can hold a bit of water at times after very heavy rains.

Tours are conditional to weather. Being on time is imperative. We are on MST and an hour different than Las Vegas and Arizona. If you are more than 15 late we may have to leave without you.

Zebra Slot Canyon

Named after the vivid stripes that line its walls, Zebra Slot Canyon in Grand Staircase Escalante is perhaps the most unique canyon in Southern Utah. To reach the stunning canyon requires an 8-mile drive down a dirt road, a 5-mile round trip hike, 45 minutes drive to and from, and a challenging climb through very narrow canyon walls. Even though the Zebra Slot Canyon itself is only about a quarter-mile long, the long journey to reach it is completely worth the effort.

Tyler was a very knowledgable guide. The Zebra slot canyon was wet so he offered us another slot canyon adventure. It was perfect and so amazing. We loved every minute of it. Would recommend this trip.

My wife and I just concluded a spectacular Zebra Slot tour. We had seen online photos, but the experience exceeded expectations. Regan was great; we couldn't be more pleased. He was punctual, personable and very knowledgeable as to the history, geology and plant life of the area. He helped us with technique (and a boost) through the tightest stretch of the canyon (We are 68 and 69 olds who exercise daily). We chatted about a variety of topics all morning. A fine young man and a great tour guide. The hike in was easy and the canyon truly spectacular. 5*+. Highly recommend.

Wow! Such an awesome experience! I booked last minute but, I dont think it could have been better. It was super easy to book and communication was thorough. Our guide, Regan was full of knowledge and an exceptional young man. He went over and beyond to insure everyone enjoyed their experience in the slots. We also got to see extra things not initially included in the tour, and we were able to take our time to enjoy our surroundings which was really nice. Our guide came prepared with provided waters as well. Roam is a top notch adventure Co. and I'd recommend using then to anyone!
