Guide Leif took my family on a perfect day of rafting down the lower Animas! We wanted a "calm" trip as an introductory to whitewater and this trip fit the bill. We'll definitely book a longer and more challenging rafting trip with Mild to Wild next time we're in Durango!

Consider the San Miguel River about 2.5 hours from Durango and just outside of Telluride Colorado for your next rafting adventure with Mild to Wild. It is a beautiful, intermediate, and active (lots of little rapids) river! You won't be disappointed.

My wife and two daughters, ages 9 and 11, took the 1/2 day Lower Animas trip and absolutely loved it! Such a fun time. It was the perfect combination of fun rapids and beautiful scenery. The staff from check-in through check-out was top notch and made it so easy for the guests. Our raft guide - Zach - was awesome! He was very conversational, shared a lot of insight about the river and Durango, and seemed to genuinely love his job. I would highly recommend adding Mild to Wild rafting to your trip if you haven't already done so. Thanks for a great memory for me and my family!

My family and I had the most amazing experience on our first ever river rafting trip. Our guide was "New Phil!" He was so sweet! Nice. Personable!! Felt like we'd known him forever. We did not want our time to end!! We would do it again in a heartbeat!! The entire staff of Mild to Wild were are just so nice!! Check them out if you are in the Durango, CO area.
