We went rafting on the San Miguel River near Telluride and it was AMAZING! Our guide, Elena, was so much fun and extremely knowledgable. Our group of 4 adults did the full day and definitely did not regret it! Was exciting at times trying to navigate the "strainers", but Elena kept her cool and calmly guided us through each obstacle. The river itself was a mix of calm floating and some quicker rapids. At most we encountered some level 3 areas, but never felt unsafe. 10/10 would do it again or think about tackling some level 4 or 5s!

This was great! Lots of fun & the perfect length of time for a first timer (my 13 yr old daughter) Zack, our guide was Awesome! Lots of fun, took the time to learn our names, very sweet & pointed out lots of stuff. Including a little book shop (White Rabbit) that we went to later. (and it was a pretty cool little hole in the wall) The first part is the river was very enjoyable & let everyone get a taste of what was to come. The end is the best part! Class 3 Rapids that are just enough for a thrill.

Great time. Guides were wonderful. First time rafting. Well worth the money. The Animas River was besutiful
