We did the economy raft tour and it was great! We had never been rafting before and this was perfect for our 6 and 9 year old. Safety was top priority! The kids were allowed to jump in the cold water for a fun dip and sit in the front of the raft for some extra splashes, but at all times we felt like they were safe! The kids loved it! Our guide Jackson was awesome. He shared history of Durango as we rafted down the river and was great with the kids. He obviously was very comfortable and knew the river well. Next time we will book a half day trip since we enjoyed it so much!

We did the half day river rafting with Jackson. The rapids were big enough to have fun but not too big where we didn’t feel safe. Jackson was the best guide and made our trip one that we won’t forget! Thank you!

I did not want to go rafting, as I’m a bit of a chicken, but my niece talked me into it. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and everyone made us feel comfortable. I was very concerned listening to the directions because everything they talked about was worse case scenario, but I still went, even though I wanted to run away. We chose a class 3 level and it was perfect for the chicken that I am. It was just enough to scare me and we had to paddle a little bit but also a nice floating down the river experience. The best part was our guide, Dillon. His knowledge of rafting was superb and he educated us on the river, wildlife, and Durango. I know we had the best guide. I highly recommend Mild to Wild, and if you can request Dillon.
