Sultan was very informative and led a fun trip. He pointed out plenty of spots and made stops for us to see the Yukon River and get dinner.

The trip is a bonus for getting to do two things in one go. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate with us and it was raining the whole way, so the northern lights where hidden, but we did make it to the Arctic Circle. The road was very bumpy and it pays to be with someone who knows what they are doing, which Sultan did. We were able to make multiple stops for bathrooms and points of interest. At the end, Sultan ended up sending us dash cam videos of various points of our trip, which was really a nice thing to have. Highly recommended!

The Arctic Circle tour is 400 miles round trip on a mostly gravel road. With that being said, I was happy I went. Sultan our driver and narrator, has being driving the Dalton Highway for 25+ years. He is very knowledgeable in the Alaskan environment along with every bump or turn in the road. Unfortunately, we did not get to see the Northern Lights due to the time of year but we did get to witness a beautiful Alaskan sunset at 11:55pm.
