My sisters and I booked and prepaid the 1 hour GoCart tour and when we checked in we informed the front clerk we were doing the 1 hour tour. He said verbatim 'you have 2 routes to choose from: The more scenic golden gate route or thru Chinatown' which would take you through the inner city routes. At no time did he mention that the more scenic GPS tour would be 2 hours and that we would be charged $1 a min for every minute we were over the 1 hour we had already pre-paid for. This place is scamming people and they're not transparent when upselling the options. When we had already purchased the 1 hour tour why would he tell us we can take the GG scenic route, there is no way anyone can take that route and get back in 1 hr. BE CAREFUL! Even if you choose the 2 hour tour, the GPS tour takes you to a bunch of winding roads, the other 2 parties behind us got charged for overage in time too! One other thing is when we retuned the car, the person/manager told us ''You're good to go now' but of course we checked to make sure we didn't incur any charges first so we asked the office to confirm, that is when we found out we were charged $120 for over time penalty fee, they were just going to charge our CC without informing us, this is just bad business practice. Please stay away from this place, it costs way too much and not fun. Not worth getting scammed.

Four of us headed out into the streets of SF headed for the GG bridge. We had a blast! Our biggest surprise was how courteous the drivers of SF were to us. Not once did I feel unsafe bc of a reckless or discourteous driver around us. We must have taken a wrong turn because we ended up on Lombard Street. We were not prepared for that but laughed the whole way down and survived! The crew was helpful with preparing us for our journey. They were patient, friendly and gave us some time to practice in their parking lot. Rental tip: show up a bit early to do the online waivers and make sure you scan the correct code as they are different for the cars and the scooters.
