Overview

Hawaii looks even better from horseback, so hop on and join us for an adventure you’ll always remember. Led by a friendly guide, you’ll travel through pastures and mountain trails, seeing the gorgeous sights of Oahu’s North Shore along the way, with its clear, blue water, offshore islands, and white sandy beaches. You also get a sneak peek into the Hidden Cave, featured on “Hawaii 5-0”.

You’ll ride to the top of our lookout point and feel proud of yourself for getting there like a real paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). We look forward to you being a part of our Ohana for a day here at Gunstock Ranch.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit.
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders are allowed to ride.

We had a unpleasant experience at Gunstock Ranch. We booked the 1.5 hour ride because it sounded great. However, the staff not very communicative with any of the riders. They did not adjust my wife's saddle so she was uncomfortable during the ride. The tour was the same old pastures was saw no wild pigs, two cows and one horse which we also saw from the road driving up there. We would not recommend this ride.

My husband and I did the 1.5-Hour Scenic Horseback Ride with wrangler Gabi. My husband had never been on a horse and I hadn't been on a horse in years. We were paired with very lovely horses Domino and Libby and felt as if we were in very good hands heading out on the trail. It was such a beautiful day. We enjoyed the scenery and chatting with Gabi. The time flew by. Overall, it was very relaxing and we would recommend this experience.

Beautiful location, horses well cared for, friendly wranglers/horse handlers, good value for money. Directions were easy to follow. Even though it was raining the scenery was stunning and a real taste of country Oahu
