My boyfriend and I took the one hour tour and I was terrified before going. I was only going to the tour for him, but I was very scared to ride a segway. But Steve was so patient and understanding and helped me trust the segway and let me learn and go at my own pace. It turns out segways are surprisingly easy and FUN!! And Steve is a wonderful guide, took pictures and videos for us, and answered any and all questions we had. He was always making sure we were safe and telling us where was the safest side to be on and areas to avoid. We hadn't been gone for 20 minutes before I called my mom and told her she has to try it. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Colorado Springs, and I can't wait to come back and do the two hour tour.

Thanks Sarah Grace! I had a feeling it was his idea, but I'm glad you were brave enough to give it a shot! You were an excellent student. It was fun to see your confidence grow and your expression turn from concern to excitement. I do hope you will be back with mom and friends! There is much more to see in the Cañon. Travel safe!

First time rider and wanted to do a tour of Cheyenne Canon and see Starr Kempf’s Art, we chose the off road tour. Our tour guide "Happy" spent time giving us instructions and practice and made sure we felt comfortable riding before taking off on the tour. He was super knowledgeable of the area, keeping it fast past and interesting while even snapping some pics of us along the way. We should have done the two hour tour and next time we will opt for that. Happy made this a wonderful experience for us, we had a blast!

Thanks Jane! I'm glad you enjoyed and were trusting enough to try the off-road portion of the tour. I look forward to seeing you guys again for the other hour of touring!

Took the one hour tour with husband and 16 year old. Loved learning how to use a Segway. Once you get the hang of it, it is really fun. Got lots of great history and saw a bit of the town, some hidden treasures like the Kempf house, and trail off roading. Steve was great. We should have done this first to have a good idea of what to do and where to go and background/history of Colorado Springs. Did it on last day, but it was still great addition to our 2 days. After tour was over we drove to Helen Hunt falls. I’d do this tour over Cave if Winds walking tour any day.

Thank you guys so much for coming out! I'm glad you enjoyed the history and I hope you will come back someday to do the other 1 hour of Segway touring. It is the Broadmoor area tour and is full of history about Julie and Spencer Penrose who founded the hotel. Thanks again and travel safe!
