1-Hour Snowmachine Tour

Overview

The 1-hour tour is a great ride for beginners or experienced riders who are looking for a shorter ride. Our heated facility is located on the road to Chena Hot Springs Resort so you can plan a tour either on your way up the Hot Springs or on your way back. There is nothing like the Hot Springs after time in the outdoors! You'll glide through the Alaska forest and experience Alaska in the winter as few can do. See the birch groves intermixed with aspen, encounter black spruce trees followed by white spruce and visually see the difference. Watch the sun at noon just above the horizon and enjoy the remarkable beauty the low angle of the sun creates. Ride under a blue sky which you might not of known can get so blue. Welcome to Alaska in the winter!

Paul was an amazing guide, he picked us up from our hotel in Fairbanks. On our way up to the snowmobile site, we saw some moose on the way and Paul slowed down so we could take pictures. The snowmobile hanger was very clean and organized. Midnight Sun ATV provides you with all the gear needed for your ride including hand/toe warmers. I would highly suggest using their boots when you are snowmobiling as the snow is deep if/when you get off your machine to take pictures. The safety orientation is thorough, and any questions or concerns are addressed at that time. They make you feel 100% safe and secure before you go out there. The views are specular and the entire excursion is so much fun! We loved it so much we booked it another time during our trip and opted in for the double rider. Paul, thank you so much for a great experience! Sorry you had to rescue us twice!

Absolutely Amazing! Paul and Adam were great. Once in a lifetime experience. Absolutely recommended. Paul it’s so passionate on what he do that you feel comfortable all the time. Highly recommended experience while visiting Fairbanks on winter. Sights are also great for photography!

A great trip with a very helpful and friendly guide/owner. Started with hotel pickup exactly on time. A nice chat while driving to his location. He inspected our clothing and provided things we would need to stay warm. The snow machines were top of the line. They are very easy to use. Don’t worry about you being able to drive one. Beautiful trails through various types of forests. Didn’t see another person the whole time we were out. Rick is your guide, just follow him, no worries. Wife loved sitting behind me and watching the winter wonderland go bye.
