Well this was epic! Canā€™t say enough good things about Joe our guide and our mushers and the doggies of this wonderful tour! Will absolutely be doing again! Itā€™s just something ā€œcoolā€ too that most people have never done but itā€™s also so fulfilling if you like nature! The dogs and the rustic nostalgia of something so iconic are humbling! The doggies are so special-they love doing it. Winter ā„ļø wonderland so dress-super warmly!

I highly recommend this dog-sledding experience offered through 1st Alaska Tours (at Arctic Winter Adventures). Itā€™s run by people who know what they are doing, and itā€™s outside of Fairbanks on trails winding through woods and open landscapes. It was beautiful to see the both the scenery and the bond between dogs and mushers who love and train them. Transportation to and from the camp is provided.

Loved being in the dog yard! They were so excited and loved getting pets! Seeing how anxious they were to run changed my feelings about this sport
