The reason I went with this company is because they offer pick-ups from where you are staying. Joe was great and did a good job telling us about life in Fairbanks and Alaska. The dog sledding adventures were great too.

Took the one hour sledding tour in mid Feb. We were picked up at the hotel in Fairbanks and went to where the sledding tour was. Played with the dogs before heading out then returned to the yurt for some hot cocoa and cookies before heading back to the hotel. Would recommend! Sven was very knowledgeable and a very nice host and we felt very comfortable on the sled with Sven at the reins.

It was my family's first trip to Alaska and we had the best guide with Joe. Joe was born and raised in Alaska and he shares an abundance of local knowledge, stories and took the best care of my family. We felt absolutely safe on the road and he knew all of the tips that gave us the best experience. The dog sledding experience was fantastic! Sven and his dog handler Wayne welcomed us and answered all of our questions providing us a warm atmosphere in the yurt and a great time sledding led by Sushi and Wasabi. The dogs are full of energy, happy and we were able to pet all of them and give some warm hugs to two new pups! We returned to the dome to get a view of the Aurora and we had a majestic show. Again, Joe was there guiding us and making sure we had the best experience. Joe felt like family with his stories and warm demeanor, he is a GEM!
