The Sonoma Food Tour experience takes guests on a guided journey of local eateries, all within the quaint walking environment of the Sonoma Plaza. You’ll get to taste Sonoma's regional cuisine, California Mexican food, local favorites, cheeses, olive oil, chocolates, wine and more. Each yummy tasting is served from locally-owned and operated restaurants, eateries & shops. You will explore Sonoma, California all while gaining knowledge about its history, culture and architecture, at the same time savoring the appetizing culinary selections. Your Sonoma Food Tour will last 3 hours, cover about 1.25 miles, and provides delicious tastings that are equivalent to a meal.

Michelle was our guide for this fun and very informative introduction to the beautiful Sonoma Valley. We had a sampling at an authentic Italian restaurant (and it's a B&B!) of food and wine and met the owner, we walked to an olive oil/balsamic vinegar tasting and a wine tasting (and met the wine maker!), which were great fun. We also had lunch at an authentic Mexican restaurant (did I mention the Margaritas?!) and topped it off with a walk to a wonderful chocolate shop. Michelle listened to our wants/needs during the tour and at the end had personalized "where to shop/visit" lists for every one of us. What a bargain and what a fun find this was. You must try it!

Michelle was an amazing guide. She was welcoming and knowledgeable. Each stop was delicious, and I loved meeting all of the local proprietors. Everyone was so proud of Sonoma and their contribution to it. It’s easy to see why locals love living in Sonoma and people enjoy visiting. This was my first trip to Sonoma, but it will not be my last. This tour was such an incredible introduction to the area. Michelle also gave great recommendations for other restaurants and places to visit.
