The Sonoma Food Tour experience takes guests on a guided journey of local eateries, all within the quaint walking environment of the Sonoma Plaza. You’ll get to taste Sonoma's regional cuisine, California Mexican food, local favorites, cheeses, olive oil, chocolates, wine and more. Each yummy tasting is served from locally-owned and operated restaurants, eateries & shops. You will explore Sonoma, California all while gaining knowledge about its history, culture and architecture, at the same time savoring the appetizing culinary selections. Your Sonoma Food Tour will last 3 hours, cover about 1.25 miles, and provides delicious tastings that are equivalent to a meal.

We went on this food and wine walking tour with our guide and 7 others. This was a fun experience. Michelle took us to a cheese place, olive oil place, sausage place that makes their own sausage where we had mimosas, flatbread and peach bilinis. We also went to a Mexican restaurant and had margarita and avacado relleno which was delicious. We actually didn’t have any wine but that was fine as we went to Shug tasting room and Jean Edwards tasting room after.

My friends and I had only one afternoon/evening in Sonoma and Michelle with Sonoma Food and Wine Tours (we only did the wine portion) made it well worth our while! The tour was highly personal. We visited two private wineries which we likely would not have discovered upon our own exploration. The types of wine served were highly catered to our interests. Michelle also gave the perfect history lesson (not too long, not too short) about Sonoma -- the city is full of history! Michelle also provided several suggestions for dinner. We tried Tasca Tasca for Portuguese tapas and it did not disappoint. Thank you, Sonoma Food Tours!

This tour was SO MUCH FUN! We are a group of friends who have known each other for nearly three decades and we are fun and sarcastic and Abby totally fit right in. By the end of the tour she was one of us. Actually, probably about ten minutes in. Besides that, it was interesting, the food & drink was great, and it was the perfect start to our vacation. Thank you, Abby!
