Each yummy tasting is served from locally-owned and operated restaurants, eateries & shops. You will explore Sonoma, California all while gaining knowledge about its history, culture and architecture, at the same time savoring the appetizing culinary selections. Your Sonoma Food Tour will last 3 hours, cover about 1.25 miles, and provides delicious tastings that are equivalent to a meal.

It was through the advice of a friend who said that she always takes a food tour when visiting a new city. THis was my first tour and well worth the time and expense. We had a small group, only a few knew each other prior to the tour. Mia made sure we all knew a little about each other and that our individual needs and expectations were met. I learned so much about Sonoma and its history as well as tasted excellent wines, great food, --- including a bit of chocolate! Great fun!

Our guide Mary was knowledgeable, fun, & so helpful. Not only did we learn about the history of Sonoma in a fun setting, she gave us several tips on places to eat, things to do, etc. in the area. She's an excellent concierge! And the restaurants/wine tasting rooms/olive oil tasting/chocolate shop we visited were all so good. The first stop was an Italian restaurant (Della Santina) where the food we ate was enough for lunch, yet we had 4 more stops to go. Wonderful prociutto & tomato salad, followed by amazing pasta with mushrooms, with 2 different wines. Great way to spend an afternoon in Sonoma!

The Sonoma Food Tour was fantastic! Mia was wonderful and we felt like we'd known her forever, just after spending 20 minutes with her--so easy to talk to. She was a wealth of knowledge and we learned so much about the area. We met some fun people, ate some awesome food (Mia catered to my special dietary needs) and learned there is way more to Sonoma than just wine (although that was our main focus for our vacation!) It was honestly one of our favorite things we did during our anniversary trip to wine country.
