You’ll get to taste Sonoma's regional cuisine, California Mexican food, local favorites, cheeses, olive oil, chocolates, wine and more. Each yummy tasting is served from locally-owned and operated restaurants, eateries & shops. You will explore Sonoma, California all while gaining knowledge about its history, culture and architecture, at the same time savoring the appetizing culinary selections. Your Sonoma Food Tour will last 3 hours, cover about 1.25 miles, and provides delicious tastings that are equivalent to a meal.

Our tour guides, Mia and Mary, are Sonoma natives and are very knowledgeable about Sonoma and its history. We picked up a lot of good information on how the area was originally explored and settled and what influences shaped its history. The guides were obviously well connected in the community and arranged tour stops that seemed hand picked for our interests and tastes. We started with a snack at an excellent Italian restaurant and got to speak with the chef. We went on to visit several historic sites, a cheese shop, an olive oil shop, a chocolate shop, and a light lunch and wine tasting. A very enjoyable tour.

We wanted to do a Food Tour, so I used reviews from my fellow Trip Advisor friends to choose this one. Mia, our guide, was great. She is a lot of fun yet shares a lot of history with you. We went to several places and did tastings She changes it up but she knows where to go. I'd do it again

We were in Sonoma to celebrate my childhood friends birthday. We were taking a cooking class later that evening and needed something to do during the day. So I started looking and what a find. The Sonoma Food Tour with Mia was amazing. It was a beautiful warm spring day with a casual walking tour around beautiful Sonoma. We met at the Home Depot Hotel and had a wonderful taste of local food and wine then off to a tour through a quaint neighborhood and a little history lesson of Sonoma and California. From there it was on to a cheese shop, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and a walk around the square with more history and onto more surprise tastings. Mia is a delightful tour guide with a wealth of knowledge of Sonoma history and a great appreciation for good wine and food. I would highly recommend taking this tour. You won't be disappointed.
