Each yummy tasting is served from locally-owned and operated restaurants, eateries & shops. You will explore Sonoma, California all while gaining knowledge about its history, culture and architecture, at the same time savoring the appetizing culinary selections. Your Sonoma Food Tour will last 3 hours, cover about 1.25 miles, and provides delicious tastings that are equivalent to a meal.

Charming local Mia Steiger leads an incredibly informative, educational, delightful and delicious food tour of some of Sonoma's special "foodie" spots! You learn not only Sonoma history, but experience and taste a variety of wine and food pairings -- in the Depot Hotel Restaurant, and Rob Della Santina's Enoteca, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tastings at Figone, sample Vella cheeses, and round off your palate with Wine Country chocolates! And yes, they do carry chocolates 70% and above! And today was extra special as we were surprised with a visit to the Plaza's newest wine tasting room at Pangloss Cellars!! Mia has carefully curated the experiences....and her friendliness and warmth make this a wonderful experience for not only locals, but also out of town guests and friends!

My husband and I were thrilled with the tour. Well worth the money. Not only was Mia informative and delightful, she has deep roots in Sonoma and the camaraderie she has with the other locals gives you a fantastic perspective. Oh yeah, great food, wine and chocolate!

We booked the Sonoma food tour while we had family visiting from out of town. I wanted to explore Sonoma and hoped this would be a good way to do it. It did not disappoint! Mia took us to wonderful places to eat and drink, all the while giving us interesting information about the history of Sonoma. You get plenty of food and wine; we left feeling full! I would recommend this tour; Mia is a natural and welcoming tour guide.
