2
Kahala
Sometimes it is good to dream and day dreaming is what most of us will be doing as we pass by the luxurious neighborhood of Kahala wherein the Sony Open is played every year. The estates here will have most of us rethinking our life choices.
3
Halona Blowhole
Halona Blowhole. Halona means ā€œOf Happy Fortuneā€ this amazing sight is one of just three in the world! And what happy fortune we have to be able to show it to YOU!
4
Sandy Beach Park
Cruzen over to Makapuā€™u Lookout we will be passing by the most sought out bodysurfing beach on the island-even by presidents; Sandy Beach! Donā€™t let the smaller waves fool you, that water is ruff!
5
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
Some call this place ā€œThe Dragonā€ These cliffs whereupon The Dragon lay will loosen the jaw in awe! Iā€™m sure your tour guide will be more than happy to explain way! Well, SHOW you why! Itā€™s an amazing site! Unfortunately this place is closed to commercial vehicles. However, you can still see The Dragon!
6
Byodo-In Temple
If you are into meditation and/or calm energy you will absolutely love the Byodo-Inn Temple. Black Swans glide effortlessly across the steady waters of its extensive Koi pond. There is a fee, but worry not, we have you covered!

North Shore
Are you hungry yet? Well, you will be. And what better place to get lunch than the North Shoresā€™ Fumis shrimp truck! These generously sized shrimp has taste you will call home about. If you are not a shrimp eater itā€™s completely okay; there are other options. Including a very inviting Vegetarian noodle plate that might have you driving to the north shore for more the next day!

Makapu'u Point
Cliff walking anyone? of course it is completely up to you; you can always stay on the safe side of the railing and still get to see an amazing view. Makapuā€™u Lookoutsā€™ amazing cliffs make a feast for your eyes. Not only because it means ā€œbulging eyeā€ in Hawaiian, either.
10
Waimea Bay
The very first place a foreigner landed in Hawaii was here in the 1700's! That was Capitan Cook and his crew. Waimea Bay is beyond majestic. From the beautiful, rainforest kissed cliffs that surround it to the proud protruding rock in the center. You will see nothing but beauty.

Sunset Beach
The original Hawaiian name for this place is Paumalū. Sunset Beach is known for big wave surfing during the winter season and I mean BIG. Keep your eyes open, you may see some surfers on the tops of the waves!

Picked up an hour late because other families werent ready on time. Most of the things listed we drove by and didn't even stop. The secret turtle snorkeling was a very public beach that was not safe for snorkeling due to the rocks/urchins and then once we made it further into the water a lifeguard came and told us to get out because it was shark territory, in retrospect thats probably why the locals weren't over there. No turtles were seen, we both saw one fish each. Left the shallow waters with cuts all over. We were all done after about 15-20 minutes. Everything felt very time crunched probably because of the late start. Turned out to be more of a driving tour stop at a stop for a couple minutes take some pictures then carry on.

Aloha! We appreciate this feedback. Due to the driver that had covid (driver was coming back from a vacation and did not do any tours but went to a meeting where other drivers were present) and the pending results of our other drivers, to we had two options. 1) outsource to a different company that had capacity at the time to take everyone Or 2) cancel the trip We felt that it would be selfish to cancel being that we had to cancel the day before (due to covid situation) and understand that people only have a limited time here. We are deeply Apologetic that you did not have a great time with the outsourced company. It sounds like you went to a different beach than normal because the beach that we go to does not have life guards there, and there is no ā€œshark territoryā€ where we take people snorkeling. When you come back to Hawaii please let us know so that we can take you and your party (up to two people) on a free tour! We hope you had a great rest of the trip! Mahalo! Hawaiian Ryan

The morning of the excursion we got an email saying the tour was cancelled. The driver was COVID positive. I certainly understand the need for safety, but why was there no backup plan? We did not book other tours because we had this one set up. We avoided doing certain things all week knowing we would be doing them on this tour. We were refunded our money quickly so no problem there but it was incredibly frustrating the company offered no backup plan or alternatives. Just cancelled. Because it was an 8 hour day we thought we had booked, we were unable to find other tours to join because of the short notice. So we tried to visit the places on the tour on our own. We made the best of it but I cannot recommend this tour or this tour company.
