Hydrate before zipping and arrive with plenty of water, sunscreen, and bug spray. They will not let you go without these items. Also, there are no restrooms once you depart so make sure you go before you get started. I recommend long thick pants to protect your legs and butt...or at least long shorts that you don't mind getting dirty...if you land wrong you will scuff your bottom. The heavier you are the faster you zip and you come in "hot" in the landing zone...kids glide right in no problem. Must wear closed toed shoes...wear something thick like a hiking boot or sturdy tennis shoes. Your feet are your breaks. There is a guide at the end to add tension to the line to help slow you down and stop but you must be active in stopping too...when coming in backwards, drag your toes...frontwards start running in the air when approaching the landing area and run it out till you stop. I felt safe with the guides (Chris and Brian) and in the safety gear zipping down the lines. The 12 lines take about 2 hours to complete. A few water stations are available through the course so you can refill your bottle. I am not in shape and was sore all over for a few days afterwards...not sure if you really use that many muscles or if i was that tense. One suggestion...sell t-shirts and/or stickers! Afterwards my group went to the store at Catherine's Landing looking for Adventureworks tshirts, was surprised not see them for sale.

We went zip lining this morning and had a fantastic time. It was our first time at a real zip line park. We had a great time and the guides could not have been better. They let you know what to expect on each line and how best to navigate the landing. You will not be disappointed spending the time to go through the park.
