1000 Islands Canada (No passports required, Departing from the US

Overview
Join us for a Unique Tour of Islands not seen on other US tours!
Marvel at the natural beauty of these less inhabited islands with tranquil bays, marshes, and scenic shorelines as we discover birds and wildlife that inhabit the region. The Natives knew this beautiful collection of islands as Manitoana or the “Garden of the Great Spirit”.

Meander among Canadian National Parks and narrow channels of the Lake Fleet and Admiralty Island groups as our naturalist guide shares the history of how the war of 1812 shaped the border between the United States and Canada and how the islands of this unique archipelago were named.

Saint Lawrence River
Enjoy an intimate boat tour without stopping through U.S. and Canadian waters on the St. Lawrence River as we take you among the islands near Clayton, NY and Gananoque, a town in the Leeds and Grenville area of Ontario, Canada. This Tour circumnavigates Grindstone Island, the fourth largest of the 1000 Islands, 2nd largest American Island, and the largest island not connected by bridge or ferry system to either mainland. Lost in time, Grindstone is home to one of the few natural occurring beaches in the islands, 2 New York State Parks, over 14 miles of unpaved roads, a private vineyard, four active beef farms, historic but now abandoned farmlands, and New York State's last operating one-room school house.

Great cruise and knowledgeable tour guides. Excellent captain and because it was a smaller boat, we could fit into areas larger boats couldn’t go. I strongly recommend the tour.

A must do! Fabulous afternoon in the St Lawrence! Our guide Matt and our captain Chuck were personable and informative! With the smaller boat we were able to get closer to shore to see more. My favorite was Half Moon Bay!
