Description says 12 passengers, but that 24footer's capacity was 1750 lbs. As we were undocking, one of the workers yelled for us to move more weight to the back. Then he gave us a thumbs up. Everything was good until we got into the open waters. The waves started coming over the front of the pontoon. Then the whole front end went under the water. Almost 1 /3rd of the pontoon had gone under water. After the third time, we turned around and luckily made it back to dock. They offered to give us another boat, but after that horrific experience, no one was getting back on that. I went inside and explained to the manager and he called his boss. His boss said no refunds. They rented the boat to another party. I think if you have 6 or 7 adults, then you are ok. I would not recommend more than that. It says 12 but that's definitely not the case. If you come to Destin and rent a pontoon to go to Crab Island, find a renter closer to Destin. One of my passengers lost a bag with an apple watch and other belongings. Luckily, the pontoon didn't flip and we all survived!
