We booked this excursion the same day it occurred, and are really happy we did. We were visiting the town with friends and it turned out to be a great way to see both the city and a decent stretch of the Willamette. The food and drinks were very good, and the servers and staff (and even the Captain) doubled as entertainment, which was a cool touch. They had a very good piano player there for background music, and the ship itself was easy to get around. We didn't bring any kids but we liked that they let others' kids go to the bridge to steer a bit and sound the horn. It was all done in a controlled but fun fashion. We got tons of great pictures of both river banks along the way, as well as some beautiful views of the town and the bridges as we came back to port. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the Portland area!

The meal is pretty good. The service was great. Views of buildings along the river so-so. A nice evening to take visiting relatives or friends, but only enjoyable the first time around. Pretty boring watching houses go by.

As a merchant mariner myself, I enjoyed the professionalism and the luxury Great food and service, liked that my woman as able to steer and the captain gave her his approval, meant a lot considering.
