Overview

Experience a 2.5-hour kiteboarding lesson in Maui by learning the basics from a professional Instructor. Learn how to set up a kite or fly a kite on land, before practice skills like self-rescues and body dragging upwind. This kiteboarding lesson is for riders of all abilities. Please advise the preferred departure time under special requirements upon booking. This is a private class so we will work at your own pace. Please let us know if you have prior kiteboard experience and will tailor your lesson for your exact level.

we had an excellent time kiteboarding in maui! suzie was so easy to communicate with and flexible with us to get us good wind! instructors martin, mika & becky were super fun and patient w learning beginners and more intermediate riders in our group. maui wind & surf was challenging, not overwhelming. would recommend!

Kevin, Gonzo, Susie were all fantastic. Susie efficiently found insightful instructors (Gonzo, then Kevin) at times that matched my tight schedule, and made sure they knew my strengths and weaknesses. Gonzo quickly assessed my experience and ability (a bit different than I convey). He got me into the water quickly after testing me on some key differences about Maui's best practices (upwind-bar rigging and self rescue without wrapping lines) that I wouldn't have noticed. Kevin took over on my second day as the wind kicked up (5m is now the smallest kite I've surfed under). I wouldn't have dared go out in those conditions but Kevin's calm instructions and clear insights improved my confidence, upwind-ability, and safe navigation when beginners got too close. Thank you all!
