Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
approximately 1 to 1.5 miles of moderate hiking round trip. 400 feet of vertical elevation gain. We are located at about 5,200 feet elevation.

I will admit, when I heard "ghost town".. I figured I'd be looking at a couple of old buildings and that was about it, but this tour totally blew me away! The tour guide was super knowledgeable and really geared the tour towards what our group was interested in. I did not have my young daughter with me, but she would have totally loved looking at all the amazing rocks that can be found on this property. If you love geology, Native American or mining history, nature, hiking... This is the place for you! There is so much to see and do. I'm so glad we made this part of our visit.
