Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

The tour took us into the park and our tour guy Harry was great. He was patient with us and let us take all the pictures we wanted. He even had a few tricks for us to have better pictures. We had a great time.

It is one of my best experiences. If you have time, visit the backcountry, a total unique experience, comparing with the 17 miles self drive tour. The view in backcountry is remarkable and different . My tour guide, Larry Team, is so knowledgeable and told the stories of Monument Valley and native resident. You can’t have enough conversation and learning with him.
