I want to first say that I NEVER write reviews (not sure why?) - but I feel compelled to write a review of our experience. My wife and I did the EBike tour on Fri Dec 9, 2021. You can see from the pictures that no matter who our guide was that this would be an incredible experience. Pure beauty in the desert at sunset. Of course the bikes were great and the views were stunning. It was a perfect mix of exercise and relaxation afforded by the E bikes. You really can make it as intense or laid back as you want with the different settings (aka “assistance levels” from the bike). That said, what made this trip exceptional, unforgettable and quite literally one of the best experiences I can remember was our tour guide Jesse. Where to even start? Jesse was professional, knowledgeable and flat out an amazing human being. I suspect people like Jesse are what sets this company apart. A few highlights: 1. Our tour started about a half hour late due to the late arrival of another party. Jesse understood that this caused some level of concern from us, as we worried if the tour would be cut short or rushed to make up for lost time. Long story short - not only did Jesse give us the full experience promised (2 hours), he also went above and beyond and took us on an extended tour for an additional 30 min to a higher elevation where we could see the beautiful sunset (he still timed it perfectly so we were exiting the desert before it became dark). 2. Jesse stopped along the way to educate us on the history, wildlife and vegetation of the region. That was appreciated 3. One of our companions lost his phone on the trip. Jesse told us to wait where we were, circled back on the trail and returned with the phone. We couldn’t believe it. He knew where it was likely to fall out (pro tip: make sure your phone is secured!) 4. On our way back on the main road (the end of the ride, nearly 3 hours after the start time and 1 hour over the “allotted time”), we came across a young girl (11 years old) on the bike path that was sobbing and visibly upset. Turns out, her dog escaped from her house and she had been walking for a long time trying to find the dog. We had just passed a stray dog several minutes earlier. Jesse told us to stop and went to retrieve the dog and comfort the girl. He probably saved that dogs life. It was awesome to witness. 5. As you would expect, Jesse really wanted us to have a good experience. He caters the rides to the ability of the group and makes you feel comfortable and safe the whole time: Anyways, I hope you all get the pleasure to experience this adventure. And I promise if Jesse is your guide, you won’t be disappointed.

Jesse was a great guide. He catered the difficulty to our skill level and provided interesting facts along the way. Would highly recommend!
